Small visitor takes over house

Steriliser and bottle making machine in the kitchen, baby clothing on the line, baby and daughter stuff in the bedroom, bouncer chair, play mat and toys in the living room, baby bath in the bathroom.

Yes, Jacob is here.

How much better our grandson looks now he has had the operation for pyloric stenosis and is putting on weight. He is a very smiley baby except when a camera is pointed at him!

Then grandad made funny faces at him and we managed to catch the smile. Hope this picture works as it's off facebook,( because silly grandad deleted it from the camera before I had the chance to put it on here. If it doesn't we shall have to try again later.)

  2. Beautiful day and the silly Grandad photo is just about perfect. You have room at the little bungalow for baby Jacob and family to stay. How nice and looks like it is a beautiful day. Life is good.

  4. He's a proper little boy! Couldn't mistake him for a girl. Visitors, especially little ones, take up so much room don't they? Bet it's a boost to Col having them with you.

  9. Your grandson is adorable smile or not! My grandson sometimes decides its not the time for pictures and he becomes elusive, at age 5. Enjoy your company and hope Colin is feeling better every day!

  17. That's a lovely smile for Grandad!
Jacob's coming on beautifully since his surgery isn't he?
Maybe Col and Jacob could have a 'who gains weight fastest' contest?
Our DGS is five and a half weeks old now, and weighs 13lbs! He's very long/tall though, so he's in proportion! It's a job and a half walking around holding him though, it plays havoc with my back!
We bought a 'Shnuggle' bath for DGS, they're about £20-00, but really convenient and easy to store, they're basically a big bucket! It may be worth you thinking about one if you're going to have two babes visiting on a regular basis, just a thought!
I think our son and daughter in law are in a bit of shock, seeing their lovely house turn into a nursery, toystore, feeding station......We've told them it happens to the best of us, and they can have 'their' house back again when he's eighteen and leaves for university!

    1. Jacob is 4 months and not quite 13lb yet! We wondered about a "whose hair grows quicker contest" :-)

  18. Oh what a cutie he is. My nephew had that op and like Jacob he was fine afterwards and put on loads of weight. Babies do come with a lot of stuff don't they. We can hardly move when Sienna is here. I said I wouldn't be doing this but I've ordered a bouncy chair from Argos for her visits. She's getting too heavy to carry around all the time now. Glad you all had a lovely weekend. xx
