  1. What a perfect way to relaxey-vous! The sea is so calming, well, when it's a calm sea! That will have done Col (and you) the world of good, Sue.
We were by the sea, too, this morning, walking around the harbour in Torquay with grandson, Harrison and stopping for ices at the Fudge/ice cream shop. Then Harrison dug for treasure in the garden this afternoon and, strangely enough, found some coins! He said it was Pirate Treasure!
I hope Col and you have many more happy days in your beach hut by the sea!
Indeed, where we had coffee today (in Quay Reflections by Torquay Harbour) they had some little tiny wooden (and ceramic) beach huts for sale and I actually bought one which has, at the bottom, a little hook so I can hang my sun hat on it in our little summerhouse which actually looks a bit like a beach hut.
Did you spend the whole day in the hut? Take sandwiches or have you any cooking facilities?

  2. Wishing you and your family many happy times in your beach hut.
How lovely and calming, I could have watched the waves for a long time.
Enjoy the break from routine, please post some more video clips.

  4. What a pleasure to sit and relax by the sea, although we haven't a beach hut we do drive to the beach most days, I love to sit and watch the waves.

I would love a beach hut but it's a bit of a long trek from The Midlands....lol-x-

    1. No, Southwold beach huts cost as much as a house!! Ours is at Felixstowe - much.much, much cheaper!

  12. Lovely! My sister was diagnosed with NHL many years ago when her children were at primary school. They are now in their 30s and she is a grandma. She also loves the sea and moved to be close to it.

  15. Yes, as Meanqueen says, more pictures please!!! I bought a little beach hut ornament yesterday, in pastel green and cream to hang in my own beach but, aka the summerhouse, as it's beach-hut style. It's like having a mini-me hut! It has a hook form which I can hang a summer hat or a cardigan for chillier days.
    But please, more pix!!!

PS Hope Col is feeling better. Thinking of him (and you) and wishing you both well.
